Welcome to Florida West Scuba School, Inc!
We are located in the City of Venice, Florida, also known as the "Sharks Tooth Capital of the World." If you are interested in going shark tooth diving aboard the dive boat located at our store location, then click here for Megalodon Charters. Our shop is located just two miles from Venice Beach where divers venture out to hunt shark teeth almost every day the weather allows. Our store is a full service dive facility. We offer Scuba lessons, full equipment rentals, air and nitrox fills, and sales/repairs of Aqualung, Apeks, Atomic, Dive-Rite, SeaQuest, Sherwood, XS Scuba, and other makes of equipment. Steve will try and help you indentify your finds. Capt. Steve is a retired geologist and will be more than happy to help you with your treasures.
Florida West Scuba School, Inc. has been in business for over 12 years at the current location at Fisherman's Wharf Marina located near the Hatchett Creek drawbridge on Business 41 just north of Venice Avenue. We are hidden from view, but look for our dive flag on the pole next to the bridge. While here, you can also grab a bite to eat at Marker 4 Restaurant located directly next door. If coming by boat, then you can usually tie up close to the shop and get gas fills and have a meal. We will leave the light on for you!..............the Adventure Continues!
